I made user authenticaton done against mysql via pam. The problem is the user name,
say user1, and its password in default domain can be used to log into the same
username account of other virtual domains by putting [EMAIL PROTECTED] in client
programs like outlook express. Is this a bug? If not
Ok, red-face moment. I just noticed I had an extra bracket in that
example, but now that everything is working fine, I'm now at a loss as
to why the previous scripts were failing, as try as I might everything
I throw at sieve works fine. Magic websieve.

Wow, you fixed it. Websieve is cool (and most importantly, it worked
first time), but I like to hand-edit things, so I looked at the script
it generated an a quick comparison of my previous script and it
revealed the problem.
I based my test script on the one found here:

Hi!
I successfully set up cyrus/postfix/spamassasin/clamav/amavisd to
handle mail for 2 domains. Now I want this setup to automatically
transfer spam to a mailbox called junk.
Pop-users will not get spam messages but they can use webmail or imap
to check
the junk mail if they wish.

Hi all. I'm a cyrus newbie/novice. I rebooted my mailserver this morning, and
now cyrus is dead. This is my mailserver at home so it is not critical, but

out to be sys

When I start the master process I get this message in the log file:
Oct 17 12:17:05 yoda master[25460]: setrlimit: Unable to set file
descriptors limit to -1: Operation not permitted
Is this something I need to attend to or is it safe to ignore

So you can't use cyradm without cyrus-imapd, and you must use cyradm to
create/delete mailbox/acl... ok so cyrus-pop3d is not standalone... never
mind, even I need to bind imapd on all ip addresses to use web interface on
other host, iptables will filter all this.

Hya, I know this is a common problem, but none fo the given responses
I've read seems to make any difference to fixing the problem.
I'm running Debian Sarge's Postfix (2.1.4-5) and Cyrus21-imapd
(2.1.16-10) packages, with sasl setup and working as well. I've set
postfix to deliver to cyrus via lmt

I wonder if there are any "official" recommendations for the quota_db
setting?
I'd say that the recommended is still quotalegacy.
Thanks for c
