When I use the non-LMTP sendmail.cf file, Sendmail 8.11 will deliver to the
sub-folder. But when I switch to the LMTP enabled sendmail.cf file,
messages are no longer delivered to the sub-folder. Permissions are correct
on the sub-folder (anyone p).
I am using Cyrus-imapd 1.6.25.

Hey all,
So I am trying to install 2.0.7 using sasldb
on a Debian 2.2r1 machine and have been unable
to get it to work right.
Everything compiles and installs just fine,
but I can't get the system to do anything
useful for me yet. I am pretty sure the
problem is because I can't seem to authenti
Then how does one go from the flat mailboxes file to mailboxes.db? How does one, for
example, upgrade an existing system from 1.x to 2.x? As I plan on doing just that, I'm
kind of concerned.

What makes you think that it is incompatible? The reconstruct.c source
was updated prior to 2.0.3 and seems to work just fine with the current
code from CVS.

needs to be done, so a volunteer could have a go at it.

The only place I think it might make sense is on cheap large scale
servers. In particular

Hello,
I have read some documentation on the new 2.0.7 cyrus server, and I really
like the improvements. However, I am a bit concerned about the lack of
reconstruct tool that would be compatible with new mailboxes db format.
Could somebody, elaborate on the subject ?

Your assumptions are right on.
(again this is all in the docs)
PAM is the "Pluggable Authentication
Module" which allows you to authenticate
users on your system via all kinds of
crazy methods... LDAP, SQL databases,
custom programs, other crazy schemes.
The catch with PAM, I believe, is that
