line in conf.php file in horde/config/conf.php on the mail server and in

There IS no special administrator account. Only the accounts you name
in conf.php. The only way to do what you want is if you are using
something like a shared SQL database for both IMP and your mail server.

Yes, you will have administrative access to Horde and other
applications. However, this does NOT necessarily mean that you will
be able to add/remove email addresses from your email server. That
depends entirely on how Horde is setup to authenticate with the IMAP

(Unfortunetly the previous Linux guy took off with out leaving much in the
way of documentation on how horde/imp is setup.)
We have root access to the horde server and access to one imp email account
