Hi David, Are your sure that both ways use the same method to send out mail? e.g. both use SMTP and the same server or both use the sendmail command and run on the same machine? Just to make sure that it is really the MUA side that is the only difference. Martin Zitat von David Brachet

I have another question: when i send a mail from my local network, to a user of my local network, with a virus, the message is detected as a virus (with amavis / clamAV) and deleted. But when i do the same thing from imp to a user of my local network, postfix doesn't seem to send the mail to amavis
