Knowing how the system in its actual instance is working is always a
good idea. Knowing that before asking wildcard-questions would have

Perhaps I'm just not looking in the right place. I can't find any
reference in imp/themes/silver/dimp/screen.css

Thanks for your email How do we manage email accounts in IMP?
Would it be better to first determine the authentication method for all
accounts, LDAP or mySQL, and then delete the encrypted password in the
database for admin account, then login with no password from the web
interface? Would thi
Yes, if the username is listed in the admins array then the
administration section will be available, but like I said this doesn't
mean you will be able to manage email accounts.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I understand there is no special

Please keep discussion on list.
There IS no special administrator account. Only the accounts you name
in conf.php. The only way to do what you want is if you are using

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. Can you suggest a path to determine what
authentication method is set up and a way change the administrator account

Or should we locate MD5 or SSHA in mysql or IMAP for the administrator
account and delete it?

Yes, you will have administrative access to Horde and other
applications. However, this does NOT necessarily mean that you will
be able to add/remove email addresses from your email server. That
depends entirely on how Horde is setup to authenticate with the IMAP
server. It's possible it s
Hi All,
Have just recently started doing some IT work with a company that has
horde/imp running.
(Unfortunetly the previous Linux guy took off with out leaving much in the
way of documentation on how horde/imp is setup.)
We have root access to the horde server and access to one imp email account
This should already be fixed in git.

Hi all,
I'm using imp version 5.0.22. I'd love to have a New Message button to the
left of the Reply button in my Inbox view. It seems more natural than
clicking the link to the left of that (in fact, a Get Email button would be
great too). Has anybody made a patch
