If you're not running turba, and you think it is the imap connection,
then perhaps it is an identd/authd timeout, firewall timeout, etc.

You beat me to this. Running netbsd 3.1 horde-webmail; apache 2.2.4, php
5.1.4. See in maillog that I have logged in and then the httpd server
starts to use 90+ % of the cpu and can't get any further.
lsof on the process does not show any URI it is trying to open, the files
it does have open al
Strange problem I havn't been able to track down here: After logging
in to Horde, the web browser clears the screen, then things pause for
30 seconds to a few minutes, and then my sidebar and horde portal
page come up normally, and IMP runs fine for a while. If you stay
logged in long enoug
