Rajneesh, Welcome to the Unix world !! Any unix book would teach you basic theory about Unix in general. Try some basic unix commands on your Linux box to start with. Read man pages if you find any difference etc. To understand what exactly Linux is visit : http://www.linux.org/lessons/ Nothing
