[Ilugc] Using fstrim in debiian

I am using debian 8, in my ssd in one partition & kubuntu latest in another partition. fstrim / command in debian says "discard" operation not supported, while it works in kubuntu & other distros like mageia, mint i tried previously. i have added discard in /etc/fstab in as suggested by one for
