There is really no market for these kind of comps. I have several such
comps. gathering dust. The best one can do is salvage the working HDDs
for reuse but then again given their age they could fail any time. I
use them on experimental machines only.

Apparently, there is an enterprise where they extract Gold from
electronic hardware. They put the PCBs in strong acids, which will
dissolve everything except gold and recover the gold used to make the
contacts inside ICs in the PCB.
Maybe you could try that.

at salem, i have sold 286, 286, and 486 machines for Rs. 14/- per k.g.
