I want to buy an MP3 player and was searching for some branded companies
supporting Linux, I've searched for Apple and Sony players and they are out
of list. Transcend supports linux 2.4 and above versions. Are there any
other companies which support Linux for their digital music players?

I installed sdcc on ubuntu JJ with:
$ sudo apt-get install sdcc
The installation was successful but the 8051 sample codes didn't compile.
Later I learnt that the include folder was not having all headers [in this
case 8051.h] and many sub folders [mcs51, z80, picXX] were empty. But "man

Yes It was about installing build-install I am looking into it for more
information on what is build-essential and why was it needed.
well, I did this to solve the problem.
$sudo apt-get install build-essential

Hi all,
I am working on a qemu emulated image which has debian lenny[5.0]
running on it. I tried compiling a C file and got a "*command not found*"
message. I installed glibc-4.3-base and recompiled but to see the same
message. I checked the PATH [$PATH =
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/u
