Hope it is not cached, which browser are you using? have you configured

I can not browse the Internet though Linux, where as it works well if I do it

This is something to do with your Motherboard. You might find this
option in the BIOS, while booting. Usually you can get in there by
pressing 'DEL' or 'F2' just after powering on.

Also read up on variants.
fping(1), sing(1), bing(1), hping(1) and so on.
Most of the time ping does fine though.
