At my first meeting, I wasn't able to arrive on Sunday. At that point, I was
mainly following work in one working group that was meeting mid-week. At later
meetings, I wasn't a newcomer any more so I never attended a Newcomer meet and
greet. That is probably pretty common.

RFC 1149 was the first humorous RFC I read and probably the first RFC I read.
It was definitely accessible for me as a Layer 1 and 2 IETF outsider. Humorous
RFCs can be a nice introduction to the structure of RFCs.

+1 on for John's response.
I will argue with my manager if I think they are wrong and I've gotten positive
results from giving managers feedback on their performance. Of course,
disagreeing with management won't always get the decision changed, but I've

Carnival is usually around March (I think it moves around being linked to
Easter like Mardi Gras). I priced flights for November and July from Northern

Berlin (and about 2 to 3 times travel to East Coast North America).
Stewart,
The charter is looking pretty good. I'd like to get on to the next phase, but
not with this text:

day passes change that substantially.
The main problem is that the final agenda isn't published until a little more

Given this comment in John Levin's post: " PS: Now that I think about it, you
can already put in a personal URL
in rfc2xml, so if someone wants to use an ORCID URL, they can do so
right now." it seems like there isn't any need to change the schema.
