Whilst I certainly believe that that arguement may be used by spammers (and
probably will), the concept of freedom of speech was that you could talk
un-obstructed by any persons or organisations. The audience had the option

I always thought that Internet with capital "I" meant the Internet between
countries, whilst the internet with a lower case "i" is referred to by the
press as an intranet within a corporate structure. Both run IP but within
different environments.
