Before I do that, is there a way for me to use the icinga2 graphite feature to
send the data? Maybe a standard format that I can write in the check script
that will send multiple graphite metrics to the graphite server?

You could configure something easily with check_wmi_plus. Quickly looking over
the files, there is a similar query configured out of the box — you would just
need to modify the wmic query that’s being used. You could modify the
`checkprintjob` or `checkprint` queries as needed.
