Can anybody tell me how to reset icinga2 completely and start from scratch. I don't care about history or anything, I just need it working again. H On Wed, Aug 5, 2015 at 12:43 PM, Henti Smith wrote: > Hi Michael, > > It would appear that somebody did a reset on the monitoring master not the >

Hi Michael, It would appear that somebody did a reset on the monitoring master not the client. Now we have tons of services in pending state. I've tried to reset the clients for all affected, but it does not seem to fix the issue. For example: service ntp is in Soft 1/3 state. Last check 21/07,

Sorry ... there the MOM is the master of masters .. I think it's a process which I'm working out now ... some of the guys here moved clients between the MOM and masters ... and thats messing things up. I'll feedback once I have it all figured out ... H On Tue, Aug 4, 2015 at 11:29 AM, Michael

Hi Michael, Sorry to bring this topic back again. I have a client -> master -> MOM setup, where the MOM. We're seeing hosts and services not updating state on MOM but working fine on master. Do I do the same process on the master to reset all statuses ? regards H On Fri, Jul 24, 2015 at 12:41

Hi Michael, Would this be on the client, or server ? If this is on the server, would this not reset all my other hosts as well or is the state just being reflected in the web interface ? Regards Henti On Thu, Jul 23, 2015 at 9:41 PM, Michael Friedrich < michael.friedr...@gmail.com> wrote: >

I have an issue I'm hoping somebody can help shed light on how to resolve. One of the machine we monitor had a time change into the future for testing, now the monitoring is stuck for that host. I've tried stopping the client, removing the node from the master and re-adding, but that doesn't fix
