Hi,
I am integrating SNMP traps to icinga2 using snmptrapd and snmptt. It's working
perfectly fine for one host.
Icinga2 configuration files look as below:

object Service "cmc_traps" {
import "generic-service"
host_name = "10.206.41.16"

But i have to be honest i still dont get it. Here is what i understood so
far:
In the snmptt.conf all traps are defined. Each trap-Event has its own
individual ID.
With the new incoming Event the EXEC Statement of the defined trap-Event
will be executed. In your exmaple this

Did i understand right that the host name in the EXEC needs to be the same
as defined in Icinga2s service?

i am new to Icinga 2 but i already made it to intsall it on a debian system
and configure some hosts and services. I am also doing some requests with
the NSClient++ on a Win 7 client get notified via email if there are
