I'll try it on Monday and let you know.
Thanks!

Why should

Hello
If we have a host H with a service S, when icinga detects H is down it
marks it as SOFT state and doesnt send any notification until it reaches
max_check attempts.
So far everything is good.
The problem we have is even if S has max_check_attempts 3, icinga marks it
HARD state as soon as it

Yes, I've seen that thanks, but it's nothing but an empty template with no
functionality

Hello

Is it possible to do this with icinga2? We have a big number of hosts and

Hi there
Is there any runtime macro to use in the commands that contains the Icinga

Hello
I've managed to setup icingaweb2 correctly with a database user backend and
a user "admin".
These user is working fine, can log in and do and watch everything
Then I set up an AD authentication backed that succesfully connects to our
AD servers and perform authentication.
If I log in with
ermissions = "*"*
*groups = "Administrators"*
*Roles file after:*
*[Administrators]*
*users = "adminuser,monitor"*
*permissions = "*"*
*groups = "Administrators"*

Any idea what's wrong?

Hi
I'm trying to configure icinga ido-mysql to use SSL connection but I
couldn't find the option in the documentation:
http://docs.icinga.org/icinga2/latest/doc/module/icinga2/chapter/object-types#objecttype-idomysqlconnection
Is there any way to do it?
Thanks!

After the last update of icinga-utils I'm stuck in this error everytime a
try to do apt-get upgrade
(Ubuntu 14.04)
An error occurred while upgrading the database:

'notes'
so I doubt it's of any
value for the community. It's just a bunch of webforms linked to an oracle
database. Nothing interesting.

Hello
I'm using icinga 2 and I have some command checks with arguments, for
instance:
object CheckCommand "check_nrpe"{
import "plugin-check-command"
command = PluginDir + "/check_nrpe -H $host.address$ $args$"
vars.args =""
}
object Service "arecibo - Chequeo Disco 2 (NRPE)" {

Hello
I'm testint icinga2 with ido-mysql and after some tests i found that some
old services are still in the database even if they're not anymore in the
config files.

Host(s).
[2014-05-23 11:21:48 +0200] information/config: Checked 2
Ok, changing the array for a string made the trick :)
Thank you!

On Fri, M
- PluginsDir is correct
- Plugins are installed
- nagios user also seems to have the right permissions to run the command
debug.log is quite big... What exactly should I search for?

Hello
I'm trying to migrate from nagios3 to icinga2.
I've translated my configuration files to the new format, but for all the
host checks I'm receiving this output:
execvpe() failed.: No such file or directory
I've checked in the logs the commands being executed for the checks and
