Ah, you helped me to understand that feature correctly. Thanks a lot! I
really appreciate the fast reply and the help. I will open the GitHub
issues during the next days since the feature "just import all CSVs in
this dir" would really provide a huge benefit, at least for my
installations.

Now I got it. "All files" has been implemented for scenarios where you
have one file per object, like one YAML or JSON file per single host.
This is for systems using a directory as their "inventory". The fact
that you're using CSV suggests that's probably not what you are trying
to accomplish.

Hi Thomas,
I am talking about the field "File name*" which allows me to either
provide a specific file (e.g. "hosts.csv" or "* (all files)".
When selecting "* (all files)", it looks like nothing is imported.
The configuration of the import source is:

Hi Valentin,
it's not clear to me where you defined those wildcards. Configuration
asks for a directory, whether you are going to read a single or all
files is going to be defined once you define an Import Source. This
example shows screenshots for "* (all files)":

Dear list,
I was wondering if someone experiences similar issues regarding Fileshipper.
I created an import source and selected one specific file to import -
everything works well.
As soon as I use wildcards (e.g. * or *.*) nothing happens - for me, it
looks like Fileshipper won't import multi
