i've a problem with resolving macros in dictionary definitions. I'll
resolve $address$ in 'vars.dns["dns server"]' but the front-end shows
$address$ instead the IP.
Anybody knows if
- my config is wrong
- my macro call is wrong
- the icinga2 parser doesn't resolve macros at this place

I recently signed up for the various mailing lists, so as way of an initial

I’m hoping to gradually do some work to be able to use icinga in a completely
windows environment if the icinga team are happy to accept any work – to the

currently there neither is a check_http.exe nor is one planned.
The reason being that check_http is such a powerful tool, which makes it
hard to reimplement with all its features on Windows, but all its checks
can be done by a remote Linux instance - making a Windows version

But I still have no luck finding the check_http.exe under sbin directory..

we have a bigger Icinga installation here: Nearly 1200 hosts and 12800 services.
No distributed setup. All on the same host.
If we enter something in the search field of the menu bar, Icinga is doing some
background search for autocomplete the entered hostname.
This causes really much cpu lo
