I have met people with that name, but pronounced zo-ee, as in Zowie Bowie.

All,
Some of you know I have moved back to Australia, and if you did not, you do
now.
I was looking to get involved in Australian Share Guide (ASG) and Computer
Measurement Group Australia (CMGA), but they appear to have fallen off the
edge of the internet.
Can anyone help me with what
Matt,
Thanks for the detailed reply.
I wish there were more responses like this for the dumbass SAS coders like me.

Bernd,
I'm guessing that being an English-like language did not help the original
coders.

Jesse,
While I like Region=0, one should always remember that there are installation
parms and exits that control how "zero" is actually applied below and above the
line. Ann old version of SAS that liked to getmain everything up to the top of
private has bitten me in the past as it blew up on
Gadi,
ISMF has many of the data set level functions you mentioned already, and you
can execute DFSMShsm commands from the list similar to ISPF 3.4s.
If only IBM would fix the display length on screens > 80 chars wide. Sigh.

All,
The current Hitachi OS is called VOS3, but I'm not sure about the suffix
(VOS3/???). I'm also not sure if Hitachi VMS was ported the Hitachi specific
z14.
While based on MVS, I think it is fair to say that z/OS and VOS3 have diverged
enough from the parent OS to be listed as a separate OS
Tim,
Your statement " VOS3 does not run on today's IBM Z machines" appears to be at
odds with the 2017 IBM announcement.

The Hitachi AP series is the IBM z14.
