The VSAM Demystified Redbook has a sample assembler program in Appendix A that
will report on SMF 64 records. There is a bug in it though, the second
occurrence of "BNO IF_CR" should be "BNO IF_DO".

I read the Izzi and Big Band. They are nothing companies. The people
creating them have no real MF background, including Ms. Nelson, who
should have stuck to the Air Force.
