Can anybody suggest goof TN3270 clients for Linux and OS/2?
On Linux I use KDE and would prefer something written for QT or at least X11.
For OS/2 I'd prefer a PM application. In both cases I'd like the ability to
configure both the primary and secondary screen size.

Not sure I have anything for OS/2 but on my Linux systems I use x3270. You
can configure the screen sizes as well as the keyboard layout to suit what
you need and it all runs fine under KDE

anyone out there is actually still using them, and if so, why.

No, it works with z/OS 2.4, well, there is a small issue, but it's being

Maybe you are forgetting the whole backwards compatibility thing.
Do you really think IBM is worried about a bunch of hobbyists writing code or
reliving their youth on mainframes because they have some "lost" revenue in
that area?

Do you mean only that IBM has changed the underlying hardware used to implement
what they called Machine Interface (MI) on the S/38, or do you mean that they
have changed the MI itself?
