I missed that part, I thought it was just a complaint about the slowness of
z/OSMF, I didn't realize it was not on a mainframe. I guess it would have been
a better question for one of the Hercules boards.

I actually reported this problem to IBM when one of my clients had a z/13s, and
was told that their testing was performed on a 400Mip box (with a zIIP engine,
and also without one), their response time was acceptable, but my clients took
about 20 minutes to initialize and about 45 minutes to get
Z/OSMF is a java application and it likes memory and a ziip engine.
