hello Robert
I am interested in the subject, since soon I must install the product and use
cartridges with a capacity of 8000 -> 400.
Any progress you have made (jcl's, installation tips, ... etc) will be very
helpful.
Regards

I come across a similar case, but my goal is to know the total bytes used or
the percentage of cartridge used.
I've searched for topics and I've only found this one from REPORT5, which
doesn't work for me.
I've looked in the DFrmm manual and couldn't see anything.
Can somebody help me? thanks

Hi Tom
Will you quiesce all activity to all of the volumes while you take the backups
so that the data will be consistent?
to make the copy of the volume I will use the DFdss ... and it will be sent to
VTS. This virtual volume will not be updated, as the GGM requires. Therefore, I

I'm sorry to explain myself so badly
it is about copying all the discs of a lpar of a CPD, with which I do not share
anything. I'm limited by cost issue. Due to the old hardware in origin, I would
need an additional card in my hardware (more modern) to be able to read the
cartridges.

yes, the idea is to copy discs from one CPD to another that does not have any
connection between them (soon a data line)

Hello,
I have to copy almost 300 discs of different capacities (mod-9, mod-27 ...)
with the GGM tool.
I have in both centers, VTS and tape library.
any advice? recommendation? example of jcl for the mass transfer of jobs to the
copy queue?
It's the first time I'm going to use this technique, so a
