Do you have MEMLIMIT=NOLIMIT on the OMVS proc? I had this problem when I first
brought up zOS 1.13. OMVS has to be initialized prior to TCP/IP starting. OMVS
is one of those address spaces started by the OS itself, like SMS.

The answer is yes... I want to ftp a complete PDS from lpar a to lpar b.
Using MGET, it appears that it will unload only members which is not
what I want. So I guess that I need to user the XMIT function. Thanks for

I want to edit z/Os files using ISPF/PDF edit and WSA. I have not tried
to edit PC files on the Mainframe and have no desire to.
And at this point, I do not know how to edit PC files on the Mainframe

We have IEAVMXIT installed to suppress various redundant messages. The MVS
installation guide on page 76 says:
Activating it with the CONTROL M, UEXIT=Y command.
When I issued K M,UEXIT=N, the D T command now displays the time.
SO what gives here.
