Hi Koen,
this is a classloader issue for which we'll need your help. It's a
very simple issue: Hibernate ORM needs to see the services exposed
from Hibernate Search when the SessionFactory is started, so that it
triggers the correct integrations.
My guess is that some metadata needs to be changed
A quick heads up that I just completed migrating the ORM quick start guides
from DocBook to Asciidoctor (HHH-9916). Part of this was to upgrade the
versions of asciidoctorj and the asciidoctor-gradle-plugin used in the
build. Let me know if y'all see anything awry.

Gunnar mentioned having the same problem. On the Hibernate.org g+ page, if
I try to add a post that contains a link to our in.relation.to domain, it
will not let me create the post.
