While I like the adherence to upstream's decisions and not doing
downstream development through patches, in this case we should

`guix copy --to=pinebookpro $(guix build /gnu/store/...-drv)`, and
that'll automatically copy the packages to my pinebook pro once it's

I just checked and it doesn't look like you can use the importer for

One option is to run `guix package -u . -n'. '-u .' will do all the
packages, and '-n' is the short flag for --dry-run, which won't actually
build any of the packages but will show you what will be built.

In general I should be able to help with the riscv64-linux for testing.
Unfortunately I'm working remotely for the next few weeks and a power
outage at home brought down my machines, so I won't be able to for a
while yet.

I suppose the quick answer is to make sure you don't have 'guix' as one
of the packages in your config.

I'm only seeing one emacs-helm package in the source code. What happens
when you run `guix upgrade` without the star?

I don't know anything about aqbanking, sorry. As for mc, I assume you'd
have to run it from a terminal, not from a menu.

You'll want to try one of the other locales while running programs from
Guix. You can set it with 'LOCALE=EN_US.UTF-8 emacs' and it'll only take
effect for that command.

There is also CBaines's patch tracker. If you add
https://git.guix-patches.cbaines.net/git/guix-patches as another remote
(git remote add guix-patches
https://git.guix-patches.cbaines.net/git/guix-patches)
then you can cherry-pick c6e882a52b5e736d0ac11872bc2dc6e26100115a and
test out the patch that way.
