Hello,
I'm using slim display manager with ~/.xsession that is symbolic linked to
~/.xinitrc. My xinitrc script include keyboard setting with setxkbmaps, japanese
input method with uim, and exec windowmanager such as cwm, fluxbox at last line.
When I install another windowmanager, I think slim di

Yes, we do this at the MDC. (I haven’t fa
Hi Guix,
(maybe the right place is guix-...@gnu.org?)
I have to two questions: :-)
1- Does someone run Guix on a MPI cluster?
2- Does someone fake a MPI cluster with Guix container?
Concerning the 1-, I mean the package manager part of Guix on a
cluster with MPI configured.
Concerning the 2-,

I agree.
I also fell in the trap. :-)
Installed gcc+binutils+etc. instead of gcc-toolchain and then weird
linking issue.
Thank you for your confirmation.
All the best,
simon

With gcc-toolchain, it seems to work fine.
Me too, I am not sure why.
Maybe because of the comment in the definition of make-gcc-toolchain:
"to make sure ld-wrapper comes before Binutils' ld in the user's profile."
Cheers,

Hi,
I'm trying to use "guix copy" to copy store items from host A to host B.
Host A and B are both on the same LAN. Host A uses GuixSD, and host B
uses Guix installed on Debian. No matter what I do, I get a message
like the following:
