I'll bet that your access rules must include the simlink's target.

Let's say my "master" files repository is located in /path/to/masterfiles
on one policy host, but on /other/path/to/masterfiles on another policy
host. I was hoping to expose the master files repository via a symlink, so
that all the clients could pull down from some /path/to/symlink/masterfi
