Do you have a variable called recurse ? There used to be a conflict
between variable names

between variable names and bodies names in 3.0.3. In that case,
Eystein's sugestion to upgrade to 3.0.4 is

Don't have simply have your own "body depth_search recurse" already
defined in your files ?

You might be using an older version of Cfengine that does not support
the syntax elements used in the current standard library.
Try upgrading to 3.0.4.
