for what it's worth, I use this from the fedora repo:
$ yum info cfengine
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Installed Packages
Name: cfengine
Arch: x86_64
Version : 2.2.
Hi,
Mine is a rhel 6 64 bit OS. I was able tpo compile successfully. But when i
try to to run , the cfekey i get the error.
[root@RHEL60x64 cfengine-2.1.21]# /opt/soe/local/cfengine/sbin/cfkey
Making a key pair for cfengine, please wait, this could take a minute...
Writing private key to

Hi, Rakesh. What library errors did you get when you tried to compile
2.1.21 on RHEL 6?
Migrating to version 3 might be a good idea in any case, if you have
time to learn 3. In 3, the language has been greatly streamlined and
standardized; and it is more powerful and flexible than 2.
Best,
-at
the version number is 2.1.21 not 2.1.12. this was a typo. APologies for the
confusion.
Please let me know on the compatibility.
Thanks..
