like cpu cores, memory and other? Can You plan add it into os.xxx in cfengine? A can get in in linux like variables (read /proc/cpuinfo and /proc/meminfo and other files) but it is not portable way (in solaris and windows i need to do specific tasks, what in c/c++ code is very simple)..
