Thanks, Nakarin, I really appreciate your reply, but I don't like to
guess - let's see
what the Cfengine developers say about what is library.cf and
cfengine_stdlib.cf?
How to reconcile this conflict?
Wouldn't anybody that downloads and starts to use cfengine run into this issue?
Or am I doing so

I guess, library.cf might be an earlier version of cfengine_stdlib.cf.
From the error messages, you might want to rename/delete the
duplicate bodies in library.cf

Hi. So I've installed 3.0.5p1, and copied the following to

For me the killer cfengine feature is convergent file-editing, which I
believe is fairly unique to cfengine.

Can you verify that the keys actually did a physical exchange? Is arcdev01's
public key stored in ppkeys on the server, and vice versa?

I'm trying to achieve the following:

My idea was to somehow fill an slist with all these local filesystems,
and generate a proper configuration for each list item.
I've looked at /proc

Here my advice:
Try and avoid per-host file anythings. Cfengine provides classes to control
per-host behaviors, trying to simulate that behavior yourself by attempting
to control which files go to which machine undermines Cfengine most powerful
