Sorry to not reply sooner. Yes, sending suggestions to the bug tracker at
cfengine is the
way most folks request changes or additions. We like to verify that the
suggestions are
non-harmful before adding them to the library, Usually it's just a formality,
of course.

I could only get this to build as a static build. But then it does work and I
can link it to my cf binaries making things very portable.

To meeAIX is like that one relative, often an inlaw, that you can never get
along with. Thanks for the input. I'll give it a try.

Most likely it is some sort of .lib thing where it actually lives in
src/.../.lib somewhere and the libpath does not pick it up. I have seen this
