open issues related to this feature will be addressed in trunk.

Aaron, I have created HDFS-4808 to discuss the API issues you brought up. I
agree that this needs to be resolved before merging the code to branch-2.

I would have preferred to wrap up the discussion regarding which API should
include the snapshot create/delete operations before the merg
