Hi All,
[ update to a prev post. ]
I don't expect too many things to change until the final release,
regarding the builds or directory layout or hbmk2.
On my TODO list these are the build related items:
1) Cross compiler envvars in GNU Make. [DONE]
2) Rearrangement of contrib headers/libs so th
Good news, Vailton. If you need a help, you can account me.

I'm still working on some details to be able to completely translate
it into English. Still can not develop something of this kind but I am
studying the options.
Even as Viktor said it will not dramatically change the hbmk2, I am
working on a version of xDevStudio to be based on hbmk2 in an attemp
I am interested to xdev studio, please consider me as beta user!Have you an

Hi Vailton,

2) Rearrangement of headers/libs so that they don't occupy the
lib/include
I see no problems with that, just add both dirs to your
libdir list, or override the defaults, or change LetoDB
to copy to the lib\\.
The third option is probably a good idea for all 3rd parties,
since (with the help of hbmk2) they will easily become
multi-compiler projects. (of course if there a
This is why I'm waiting for the official release of version 2.x, where
these issues have already been set to launch a new version of
xDevStudio.
There are still many changes being made and we wait for a "pattern".

But, not logic.
If default dir is \bin, default include is \include. Why default dir
for lib
will changed to \lib\win\bcc ?
It's logical. For binaries, you don't have to keep separate
builds for each compilers because they are interchangeable
(you can even build 64, WinCE or DOS targets usin
For example:
LettoDb after make_b32.bat copy the file rddleto.lib for default dir
d:\dev\harbour\lib.
Because HB_PATH=d:\dev\harbour.

But, not logic.
If default dir is \bin, default include is \include. Why default dir for lib
will changed to \lib\win\bcc ?
hbmk2 is setting to work that way?
Becase I use xDev will then change.
