Yes though this are not unicode fonts so not in all countries it's an
option.

install it - fe. with rpm.

Unfortunately it's not "universal".
For example under Ubuntu 8.10 Liberation.mono works great but under
Centos 5.2 ( which has xfs ) there is a "link" between font size and
setmode( maxrow, maxcol ) and the win
