How about a coompletely new aproach ?
Instead of developping an xbpbrowse clone , what about a completely new
xbp part ?
Let's call it xbpGrid and it would be a derivative of Qt's grid class.
Then we'll have to resolve:
1) how to fill it with an array or to attach set-get codebl

Sure my use of this functions is very basic (no MT, no heavy loops, etc.)

I think XML is the best format to use for this target.
After a little effort in building and sharing an XSD schema, the contents
can easily generate HTML, txt, PDF, docuwiki, etc. and are also ready to
include in a dbms (not important if MySQL, DBF tables or other type).
