I've been trying to define and build openclonk, but I keep getting build
failures because pthreads are missing.
tl;dr: how to make pthreads work with cmake-build-system for linking...
I have grepped the guix sources for pthreads but I can't seem to find it
explicitly declared used. And AFAIK pthr

Hi guix and Björn!
I'm happy to contribute to the stall, but...
I will have to figure out how I get there and accomodation (I guess I'm
financially "poor"). But if I can get that sorted you can count on me.
In that regard, if anyone's traveling by car or similar from approximately
Norway I'd love
Hi, I might have been a tad too quick, yes. I felt like I had taken so long,
but looking at the mails, I see my perspective was a bit skewed.

I guess channels already sort of exist. have a git repo or similar with
whatever guix packages in it and point $GUIX_PACKAGE_PATH at it. Then all
packages defined in your git repo are suddenly part of your available guix
packages.

continue tomorrow.

Hi!
As far as IRC is concerned you're welcome to take any questions or
conversations that you have there. When people are online it tends to be
faster, and some problems - like live troubleshooting - is better suited to
IRC.
Personally I ask on IRC when I have a question. If it isn't answered or
Hi,
Here is a bunch of curated links on the topic from what I've found the last
week or so with binge-reading/research. I'm adding short descriptions to some
were the link itself is not explanatory. Trying to put them in order of "value
for time" and usefulness for us, as a free software community
Hi,
I've recently been reading a lot about codes of conduct, inclusion,
diversity, and similar topics - mainly in perspective of informatics
communities and free software.
I originally thought I'd find and propose a code of conduct because I wasn't
aware Guix had one. But I did find one when I gr
