Have a *huge* length difference. The second one is more than twice as
long as the first, because the English / is wider than the Hebrew /. I
didn't change any settings, just use the default font used by Gedit.

I forgot to mention, I think solutions are:
1. Perfect solution is to have a monospace font for Hebrew
2. Workaround is to use English-locale Text View if the user chooses, or
if the extension of the file denotes a source code file
