This is a resend of a patch from Vitaly Kuzmichev from 2021
(https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2021-03/msg00163.html).
It would be great if grub could support searching for partitions by
PARTUUID which is why I'm resending this patch hoping it can be
applied.

I think we need to start having options to specify which entry to use. E.g
linux --no-efi-stub /vmlinuz
This is probably needed to support other users of Linux protocol
