Chainloadig from grub2 to isolinux

Is there a method to chainload from grub2 -> grub_older and grub2 -> isolinux? Most live-cd's use an isolinux configuration with many menu items embedded in the isolinux layer. Instead of spending time trying to guess at these, a chainload boot would be most helpful. Thanks and Regards. -- Fre
