Hello
Many of you may not of known this, but Bean has written a patch for
GRUB2 which enables support for FreeBSD 64-bit.
Once again, excellent work Bean, thanks.
Also honorary thanks goes to phcoder, for adding trampoline and other
needed compatibility-type objects.

Hello
I'm sure this has been asked before.
Any chance of using GRUB2 as a replacement for the Windows BootLoader?
Or can Grub4DOS already completely replace the windows bootloadeR?
If not, can we please work on a [PATCH] for GRUB2 to add support for
the Windows kernel?

Hello
Can someone please provide me with a tutorial on how to add a patch to GRUB2?
Thanks in advance,

PS: The patch I want to add is the 64-bit FreeBSD one.

What would you suggest instead, for a free full-drive encryption?

Ah, okay. Becoming a little clearer now.
Well anyways, really interested in seeing this ZFS package

Excellent, thanks.
Haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I'm sure phcoder will be interested!
He told me he's been making his own port, so maybe he can fix this one
up instead!
Good Luck

Hello
I don't know much about this.
However, you're compiling it on a 64-bit kernel, right?
The limitation you are talking about is the 32-bit 2 64-bit
limitation. 32-bit only supports up to 3.25GB of RAM.
Have you tried compiling it on 32-bit os? That may (for some reason)
fix the problem.

Awesome.
BTW: How do these update to GRUB2 work, I mean to the patches, once
proven automatically get integrated into GRUB2 (and released to the
official website)?

Hello
When you mention 'Sun Partition' what file-system are you specifying?
ZFS?
UFS?

Hello
Okay, well I'm not really that well versed to understand what you are saying.
However, I'd be eternally grateful if you were able to 'port' 32-bit
FreeBSD for GRUB to 64-bit FreeBSD (for GRUB).

FreeBSD to support 64-bit as well... or creating a separate module
based on that)

I know for a fact that FreeBSD 32-bit can work with GRUB2

I've been working out, with Djn (another member of the forum) how to

He has so far worked out that he can add FreeBSD 32-bit to the GRUB
menu, but he can't seem to
