Where are you seeing this? The 1.22.4 version of the groff man page
says "Set location trap" here, and git says this wording has bee

I think it should say "set position trap", to distinguish it
from other traps (e.g., input line count traps).

"Trap" has been defined as "a positional condition".
Thus "condition trap" is redundant. Confusingly, the word
is simultaneously used to stand for something that is not a trap
