Hey fellow gruff users
Actually writing this makes me wonder how many we are around the world that
actually uses groff/troff on a regular basis.
What do you think a hundred?
Well I do use groff on a regular basis and have done that since I guess
2008. I've been playing with fonts every now and a
Could someone please explain to me in plain words what I will gain from
doing it in the suggested way in stead of the why I had done it in the
source that I posted??

because I find the Groff inline escape sequence a bit disturbing to work
with.

I can see that this hasn't really inspired anybody. Don't worry about it.
I've found a solution.

Hi friends
We are starting an association here and in order to do so we need to make a
minute of our founding meeting. I would of course like this to look as pro
as posible. I was wondering if some of you would have made a nice meeting
minute in pure groff og ms that i can use as a template?? Mayb
I have solved this. Actually as often it was simple. Getting the pagination
to go away was setting CH variable to nothing
.ds CH
The rest I could solve by setting the header margin down to half a
centimeter
.nr HM 0.5c
.hm 0.5c

would like to use ms .MC and other ms fetures
I am strugeling with at text and image situation using groff and ms. I have
more questions on this but I'll post them one by one. Here is my problem
right now. I am trying to insert an image in the center of the page. I want
the image to be exatly one centimiter from margen top, bottom, left, right
"Anyway, if you want block-level boxed text, you can do this:
.B1

No haven't done any prosper "homework" before asking. Just wanted to here

Hi
Just a small question. Do you agree with me that ms does not really have
separate procedures for things like indent and text boxes. The concept here
is simply resetting the line start and the line length??

Thanks for advice Deri
So that should mean that viewing it in an other PDF viewer would show the
right fonts??
"One possibility is get groff to actually embed the used base fonts in the
postscript file it produces, by editing the "download" file with entries
which point to the URW fonts which I
But Dale Snell I simply try to invoke the build in fonts. Not to install
any new fonts.
Ok so I have teste now. I have got the fonts. It looks like this
/data/data/com.termux/files/usr/share/groff/1.22.4/font
$ ls devps
AB BMBI CI HBI HNR NR S TR freeeuro.afm text.enc
ABI BMI CR HI HR PB SS ZCMI freeeuro.pfa zapfdr.pfa
AI BMR DESC HNB NB PBI TB ZD generate
AR CB EURO HNBI NBI PI TBI
It makes sense. Isn't there a simple search I can perform that will give
me an overview of which fonts my Groff setup has and where they are placed
in the file system ??

Dear Groff-users
I've been running Linux on my smartphone / tablet for a long time and I've
used all sorts of variants of Linux on Android.
Now I have started to use Termux which is an android app that gives the
user a virtually full Linux system from an ordinary Android terminal.
Really good app
