I get no map in IE7 maybe because of this line
mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.HYBRID,
It has a comma at the end that's not needed.

The function is called like this
setMarkers(map, beaches);
but the function itself looks like this
function setMarkers(map, locations)
So beaches become locations.
