As far as I know every subkey holds its own passphrase (per default,
they are all identical for a given primary key). This means that
passphrase requests are actually not action-based, but key-based.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

I just noticed that on my mobile computer (running Mac OS X) I am
still stuck with GnuPG 2.0.17 since MacGPG2 has not yet been updated.
I will have to wait for an updated package before I can start moving

Hi,
I new to OpenPGP and GNUPG and have created myself a problem.
I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.0.0 and Enigmai. I originally loaded
gpg4win-1.0.9 and created a key pair successfully,key id 0xC8D5E165
pub/sec.. I deleted the program in my testing and reload gpg4win.
Now my key ID is 0x2AD07B94 pub/s
I've had no luck with the binary version that I downloaded based on
Benjamin's various howtos and mailing list messages. I have
downloaded the source, and poked around it in Xcode. I wanted to make
sure that there was a GUI element to the pinentry-mac.app. There is.
I built it and tried placing
I have an app that is barfing trying to call pinentry. I was to try
calling pinentry manually to make sure that it is doing the right
thing. Information is very parse. Based on...
pinentry -h
Usage: pinentry [OPTION]...
Ask securely for a secret and print it to stdout.
--display DISPLAY

Again, the icon appears in the dock and bounces once, but no UI. I
