I would like to use gpg to create encrypted directories
on an external hard drive. I would like to do this for
both WinXP and for Linux. Could someone direct me to
appropriate documentation?

name -- something in a bookmarks directory, I think, but it

On a Linux box, in encrypting a file with gpg, I get this query:
It is NOT certain that the key belongs to the person named
in the user ID. If you *really* know what you are doing,
you may answer the next question with yes.

I ultimately was able to add blowfish to my preferences with:
gpg --edit-key mdb00
setpref BLOWFISH
It is noteworthy that the 3DES cipher cannot be removed by this
procedure, while any other cy
