Hey Werner,
thank you for your reply. So it works with both?
It would be useful to write this in the gpg4win documentation. I could do
this.
Greetings

Windows officially supports a forward slash in its core APIs but not in
the shell. We do not use the shell and thus th

Good question: there really isn't a good, standardized way to do this.
There are three different branches of GnuPG that are in common use (1.4,

Hi,
I'd like to make a fresh linux installation.
What is the best way to use my keys and settings I've already configured
on my old OS? Do I back things up, or make a copy from the config. file?
I've just started using Gnupg (and Linux).
Thank you.
I have a similar setup and have been doing it successfully. I have two
yubikey neos with signing keys. I found that because of bugs in gpg 2.1 I
had to put the same signing key onto both neos. Once I did that it worked
smoothly. It would be preferable to use different keys and I'll do that if

You will need the private key on-disk *temporarily* while setting up the
smartcards. But with Knoppix, that "disk" can be a RAM disk in the main

Hey,
when using the sks keyserver you can choose to use the HKPS version. In the
gpg.conf file you need to specify the path to the CA cert "keyserver-options
ca-cert-file=/path/to/CA/sks-keyservers.netCA.pem". In Windows, what is the
correct slash to use?
Is it / or \?
Thank you guys

Hello.
I did some research myself and came to conclusion that this is not
supported. Was about to submit a feature request, but it is better to
ask for help here first.
The use case that I want to implement is the following:

On the topic of open source RNG, I own the OneRNG and have attempted
to use it with gpg but failed in the past.
I never made another attempt.
OneRNG was a kickstarter crowd funding campaign and is now available
from their webshop. It's supposed to be an open source RNG but I'm not
