Hello - I like to use the Double Line View so that I can put comments in
each transaction. I have to click the Double Line View every time. Is there
a setting or way to configure gnucash to always enable that setting?

Thank you so much Tommy and all others that had responded! This will save me
so many tedius clicks and time.
I clicked on “Preferences”, then “Register Defaults” and then there was a
checkbox under “Other Defaults” for “Double line view”. I put a check mark
there and when I open my accounts
